Notes From Amy:
Just five weeks to our first event that includes our horses—the April 26 trailride at Three
Creeks! I’m so READY for
it to be spring and nice, dry weather. Aren’t you?
Hope you’ve been able to work with your horses during the nice
days that we have had in the last couple of weeks. It’s
almost time for us to see each other more often as we get out and about.
My 4-H horsemanship group will have its first mounted
meeting in a couple of weeks and I know that they are as excited as I
am to get their horses out and get the year
started. If only I had their energy!
Our Shiloh meeting on April 3 will be held
at the Pizza Hut on Clark Lane which is in front of Home Depot in Columbia.
Hope to see you all there!
Reminder for Members:
Trail Rides Trail rides are held on show rain dates. If a date is required as a rain date or a show, that trail ride
is cancelled. Everyone is invited. Bring a covered dish to share for the potluck dinner as well as your own drinks,
table service, lawn chairs, etc. The Club will provide the meat. There are two rides—one about 10 am and another about
1 pm. Lunch is on your own if you participate in both rides. The trail rides are held at the David and Brenda Reed farm near
the Rudolf Bennitt Conservation Area (Higbee). For further information or directions, email or contact one of our officers.
